Three days before departure

After a lot of thought and too little planning, I have decided to make a pilgrimage around the 88 temples of Shikoku.  The pilgrimage, a famous buddhist pilgrimage around the island of Shikoku, Japan, is something I have thought about doing ever since my first stay in Japan 20 years ago.  For anyone interested in the history, more detail can be found here:

There are lots challenges to overcome...due to work constraints I only have 15 days to complete the 1400km journey.  It looks like many people have done the bicycle pilgrimage, and 2 weeks is not an overly hard pace, hopefully.  The only complication is that I need to avoid the typhoon Muifa, a category 4 typhoon that is due to pass through Okinawa late next week.  Hopefully the typhoon does not change course and hit Shikoku...
